SCNE is an event search tool operated from Budapest, Hungary.

2. What data we collect and why
- Search queries — entered by you to find events. Processed on our server to return results. Not stored long-term.
- Venue suggestions — venue name and Facebook URL you voluntarily submit. Stored so we can review and add the venue.
- Analytics (only with your consent) — if you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, search terms, clicks). Your IP address is anonymised. This data is processed by Google LLC under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Analytics cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
- Venue suggestions: legitimate interest in improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
4. Third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 — only loaded after consent. Data may be transferred to the US under SCCs. Google Privacy Policy ↗

- Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google servers. Your IP may be logged by Google.
5. Cookies
- scne_analytics_consent — stores your cookie preference. Expires after 1 year. No tracking.
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — only set if you accept. Used to distinguish users and sessions.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; to withdraw consent at any time; and to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH) at naih.hu ↗.

7. Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Venue suggestions are kept until processed and either added or rejected.
